winstanleys bmx UK BMX Question?
UK BMX Question? Anyone on on the list here that is in the UK? Or know`s stuff about BMX in the UK ? I would like to know if ther are any organized BMX racing Or Free_style_ organizations in the UK? I know of theUnion Cycling Internationale (UCI) ther, but are ther more like what is in theUSA the ABA & NBL and Canada`s CBA. I for some reason got in my snail mail today a coppy of Ride BMX Magazne UK Edition printed in England.No.55 and going tho it, I can not find any organizations listed in this magz. I do see alots more of mail order adds that looks nice. One that cought my eyes fast, was Winstanleys BMX , becouse I guess I have never seen (even oneline/the web) of anyone in mail orders with sale`s of the Full Schwinn BMX line,IE: Complete Bikes. and Accessories.I guess this place makes Dan`s Comp. look like a basket case here in the USA. I guess I am just a big Schwinn Bicycle Nut...... maybe I wish we had alot of the stuff that is offered with in this magz. You riders in the UK look like your doing something right ther.Just the question of BMX organizations in the UK? Geneb...Wenatchee,Washington-USA Gene`s BMX http://www.geocities.com/genesbmx

Mail order in the UK is pretty good - you can get pretty much anything you want in a reasonable amount of time.  Even though I now live in continental Europe, I still order from the UK and am impressed that the postage only takes a day or two.  The other good thing about it is that we don't have an equivalent of Dan's.  All of the places are pretty similar, no-one dominates the market, and most are just normal shops that will also send you stuff.  The only problem with the UK compared to the US is price.  In general, we'll pay in pounds what you pay in dollars, so the stuff is about 150% more expensive. bomba

Custom Riders is a better mail order shop, they always send stuff out the same day and the staff all know whats worth buying. In the past they've actually recommended cheaper stuff than I originally requested because its not worth spending the extra.

Norwegian Minister of Justice did not sit at home and dived in the waters of the Arctic. I must admit that bad for the minister!
