You will have had either several years as a Senior Project Manager, with Project Managers reporting to you or work experience as an IT Project Director. An influential leader and team p_layer_, you will oversee a diverse group of professionals in delivering a wide range of efficient and cost effective business solutions to a large internal client _base_. A results oriented professional, you demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and practices and information technology disciplines. Your general business knowledge is enhanced by well developed leadership, negotiating, communication and interpersonal skills. You will direct and have overall responsibility for the completion of projects or programs involving eight to ten departments according to general/road work plans, often within a matrix management structure. This includes: developing work plans that include a variety on non-routine assignments or projects, establishing specific _object_ives, determining appropriate methods and procedures, establishing deadlines and identifying new priorities and taking necessary action. Project or program time_frame_s typically do not exceed 24 months and have a $1,500,000 to $5,000,000 annualized operating budget. Compared to the Project Manager job, the focus is to direct multiple or more complex projects or program (e.g. multi-phase or interrelated projects).
