I´d like to know movies about Dalton gang. There are two movies about them made in seventies but are there any older movies about Daltons? Yes.   When the Dalton's Rode (1940), with Randolph Scott as, if I recall, a lawman tracking them down.   This was a fun film to watch although it's a lot of fiction.  The kind of film that would have been better off using fictional names as well in order to avoid making accuracy an issue. Best, IL of FI At least fifteen movies, including one with The Three Stooges. But the earliest two were The Last Stand of the Dalton Boys (1912) and Beyond the Law (1918), both featuring Emmett Dalton. In Beyond the Law, he played all himself AND his two brothers AND has a writer credit for the novel. And a book credit for When the Daltons Rode (1940 Randolph Scott, Brian Donlevy, Broderick Crawford, Andy Devine)

Bob T Thank you, Bob, but I think that  movie When the Daltons ride directed by George Marshall is not what I have in my mind. Tim McEveety directed in 1975 a movie _base_d on the Dalton Gang's Bank Robbery in Coffeyvill, Kansas. I suppose there is an older Dalton movie _base_d on same robbery. That́s what I am looking for. Best, IL of FI
